"I couldn't be more excited to announce that I'm releasing a book I Can Explain."

Former Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has announced a brand new project.

The TV personality confirmed that he quit the reality show last month after spending around a decade as a series regular.

Posting on Instagram, Laing shared the news that he will be releasing a new book titled I Can Explain, which is now available to pre-order.

As part of the announcement, he shared a video of himself video calling the people in his life to tell them about this exciting new project.

In the video, Laing rang up his nearest and dearest and said that his publishers had asked him to add awkward stories into the book, which he beeped out in the video to avoid spoilers.

Throughout the video, Laing shocked his family and friends and as they all said "no" Laing replied with a poignant "I can explain".

The video included appearances from Strictly Come Dancing stars Oti Mabuse and Giovanni Pernice, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, plus Jamie's partner Sophie Habboo and his mum.
