Ahead of The Bad Batch's release, supervising director Brad Rau spoke exclusively to Digital Spy about the kind of things Star Wars fans can expect to see when they enter the latest animated galaxy.
The series, which Rau has revealed will feature some familiar faces, follows a unique squad of clones known as the Bad Batch, who were first introduced in The Clone Wars.
As the squad tries to find their way in a rapidly-changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War, it's now confirmed that they will come across "other familiar faces".
Following the re-introduction of Saw Gerrera and Tarkin, and the news that Ming-Na Wen's Mandalorian character Fennec Shand will appear, we asked Rau if there are any other major cameos on the horizon.
"I will just say, there will be other familiar faces we'll come across," he teased.
"That's one of the exciting things about this period of the Bad Batch – there are a lot of characters that are alive and doing things around the Star Wars Galaxy."
We look forward to The Bad Batch's secrets being revealed. In the mean time, May the 4th be with you.
The Bad Batch starts streaming today (Tuesday, May 4) on Disney+ with a special 70-minute premiere, followed by new episodes every Friday starting on May 7.
